On Sept. 17, 2016 stuntman Eddie Braun will attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in a rocket nearly identical daredevil Evel Knievel's rocket. This time the aircraft named Evel Spirit is designed by Scott Truax, the son of Evel's 1974 engineer. Evel didn't make the jump but survived. Scott Truax was a young, impressionable boy at the time. With this jump, Eddie and Scott will be paying homage to Knievel and Truax, accelerating up to 400 mph at top speed. Check online news! We shot a segment at the Butte Evel Knievel Days for the team - they are passionate and dedicated.
Here's a story on team Evel Spirit:

Watch detection dogs learn to sniff out illegal ivory and other contraband. Working Dogs for Conservation is training them to work with handlers in the Luangwa Valley, Zambia’s wildlife stronghold where it is under increasing attack from poachers.
The dogs have found poaching contraband that law enforcement would never have discovered without them, such as gun parts concealed in the thatched roof of a hut, or, incredibly, a tiny primer cap (used to fire a muzzle loader) that was placed in a matchbox, hidden inside a suitcase, and buried among bags and parcels in a tightly packed van. Searches like these often happen along roads or in villages, when many bystanders are watching, which adds to the dogs’ deterrence value.
WD4C continues to provide consultation, support, and maintenance training to the Zambia team to ensure that the dogs remain eager, efficient and effective in their work." - from www.wd4c.org/ambiaantipoaching.html
